We take a lack of bedside manner from doctors as a given...but now The New York Times is reporting that soon physicians could be helped by OpenA-I's ChatGPT with more empathetic ways to deliver difficult news. Dr. Vivek Rajan of Houston Patient Advocacy says it's a good use of the technology as long as the doctor makes it their own delivery. "Somethings you just can't replace. Especially when a patient hears bad news - it has to be from a doctor face-to-face."

He says everyone's already using AI for administrative purposes and some for clinical decision making although some administrators don't think it's wise...Nonetheless --- there's no telling what is coming in the future.
