Granted I go looking for interesting tidbits to talk about. But sometimes I’m just flummoxed by the wacky things I find on the news wires… such as the woman in Florida who is trying to marry a tree in order to keep it from being chopped down.
Then there’s the man in South Carolina, who said, he put hundreds of store bought crickets into coolers at the restaurant where he used to work, “just for fun.”. That infestation wasn’t funny when those crickets inadvertently were released. The accused now facing the court.
But government itself is not immune to silliness. The sheriff in Pennsylvania putting out a warrant on the famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil, accusing the sleepy rodent for deception. You know he really blew that end of winter prediction this year.
