Food trends give way to more food trends if you live in that sort of world. And the latest trend according to the New York Times….raw water. Yes, raw water, Aka spring water, but untreated. It’s the latest movement springing up on not –the-East, but the West Coast of America, especially in affluent areas like Silicon Valley.
One of the proponents is bottling it….2.5 gallon bottles sell for 37 dollars. Unfiltered, unsterilized, untreated spring water.
Apparently there are a lot of people who want to want to get off “the water grid”… that is tap water, bottled water, even distilled water.
Spring water is “pure” they say.
Aren’t these the same people who claim that fracking pollutes the underground water supply?
