WEATHER THOUGHTS

The old line is, “it’s not whether Houston will have severe weather….but when.”  That when appears to be now in the form of a tropical storm named Cindy.  How severe might she be? That’s always a “we don’t know until she’s here answer.    Old hands at weather-watching …like news people…have learned of the surprises in storms…how tropical storm Allison boomeranged….coming back on us after she had passed through…causing more damage from rain and flooding than Hurricane Alicia did with Category 3 winds.

Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Ike all held their own surprises.  But no surprise in this….when weather adversity hits this part of the Gulf Coast… the old hands will have prepared for it, as we all should. If you’re new to weathering storms…all it takes is one to make you an old hand too.
