I don't keep up much with Hollywood as it veers ever leftward, but here's an exception....the exceptional Clint Eastwood who has become the director some now dub "America's Director",
After directing a stream of highly- rated films that depict American heroes....such as "American Sniper" and "Sully", Eastwood is now taking up another real life story, of 3 courageous Americans…all friends…who stopped an Isis-inspired attack in Franc. It was a terrorist opening fire on a Paris train in August, 2 years ago.
Their book is titled “The 15:17 to Paris: True Story of a Terrorist, a Train and Three American Heroes”. I don’t know what the title of the film will be…but hope it’s a parallel to an old and awarded western….the “3:10 to Yuma” just sets a tone of American values to a 15:17 to Paris.
