BOY OH BOY!

I maybe gave the wrong impression on Houston’s Morning News.  I really don’t condone breaking the law.  It was maybe poor choice of amusement on my part, but I did find some wry amusement in the report of an 8 year old Ohio boy, who wanted a cheeseburger and so grabbed his 4 year old sister and his daddy’s van and drove to McDonald's to get one. He said he learned to drive by watching YouTube videos.  And police say, they won’t charge him with anything, because he obeyed all laws and got safely to the restaurant and back.My amusement  also held some relief… that kids do things, maybe unexpected, but inside what could be considered the realm of normalcy.  With daily news of our ever-changing culture, to me it was a story that was reassuringly familiar. After all,  I did grow up in a community where kids were driving tractors, helping to produce food at the age of 8.
