Earlier this week we posted the horrifying video that showed the murder of Dallas area youth football coach Mike Hickmon during a pre-season game.
The accused gunman, Yaqub Talib, is an assistant coach on the opposing team.
Talib, is the brother of retired NFL Pro-Bowler Aqib Talib who is also an assistant coach.
Video posted by TMZ shows a confrontation between coaches and the referee, then the coaches from opposing teams begin to fight.
WFAA in Dallas reports that multiple witnesses say that Aqib Talib first punch Hickmon before being allegedly shot by his brother.
“Multiple witnesses say Aqib Talib was the one who started the brawl because he was upset about referees.
"He threw the first punch, and you see Mike trying to defend himself," said Mays.
Then you can hear the gunshots. Lancaster police arrested Aqib Talib’s brother, Yaqub Talib, saying he killed coach Hickmon.
In an arrest affidavit, police say this all started over an argument about the score of the game but doesn’t say who started the fight.”
