One of Lina Hidalgo’s top staffer, Aaron Dunn, that was implicated in the big rigging investigation is given a new, higher paying job with the county’s flood control district and that job was NEVER publicly posted for other candidates to apply for.
Dunn got the new county job just five days after Texas Rangers served search warrants on the office of the judge & her staffers.
Fox 26’s Greg Groogan reports that Dunn’s pay from increased from $111,000 to $125,000.
In addition, Groogan reports that a separate open records inquiry revealed the senior-level flood control job, for which Dunn was selected, was never publicly posted for other applicants to pursue.
