A Florida driver fired off nearly a dozen rounds during morning rush hour traffic in the Miami area after he claims another car was following him.
Investigators says Eric Popper, 30, cut off another driver, that driver started tailgating and honking at Popper.
Po-po believe that the driver then reportedly threw something at Popper's car while he passed by him. That’s when Popper grabs his piece and empties it toward the car.
Popper says he thought he was the one being shot at and that's why he started shooting at the other driver.
However, the other driver was not armed.
Fortunately, nobody was injured in the shooting.
Popper now faces two felony charges.
He reportedly turned himself in after the incident and gave police his dash cam video.
The Miami Beach Fire Department terminated his employment following the incident.
