A little more than a week ago, the Greenfield Police Department in Wisconsin released video footage showing a police chase that left the suspect dead and an officer critically wounded.
The incident occurred on August 22nd and shows an officer stopping a car for running a red light. The driver first pulled over, then sped off when backup arrived.
Police chase that car until it the driver blows through a red light and crashes into another car.
After crashing, police multiple times ordered the driver to show his hands & get out of the car.
Greenfield Police Chief Jay Johnson points out, “you’ll see and hear [the officers’], guns drawn, order the suspect to show them his hands 18 times, which he refused to do.”
The driver ended up shooting at officers, hitting one.
The suspect identified as 31-year-old Tyran Lamb exited the car after firing at officers. Two other officers involved in the pursuit then shot and killed Lamb near the crash.
Chief Johnson says about the released video:
"What you’ll see in this video is the kind of danger police officers face every day. You will see their bravery. Their heroism. Their commitment to this community…The suspect was an armed felon who made the decision to flee from the police. He put our community, our citizens and our officers in danger.”
Lamb has a long criminal rap sheet and spent several stints in jail.
As Leo Terrell noted on Fox News:
“Black Lives Matter, the Biden's administration, the Squad should be in a straitjacket in a room and watch this horrific video. That thug was on a suicide mission to kill. 18-times they told him to put his hands up…there is no such thing as a routine traffic stop. This is what the squad, BlackLivesMatter refuse to acknowledge.”
