The video shows at least three masked men stuff high-end makeup and beauty products into garbage bags.
The man filming the heist is completely stunned to be witnessing what is going on.
The heist went down at the Ulta Beauty store in Norridge (just outside of Chicago).
"The self-appointed chronicler of the robbery films the suspects bolting out of the store with their bags in hand...
A manager for the store refused to comment when reached by Fox News. She referred all questions to a media spokesperson.
"At Ulta Beauty, the safety of our associates and guests is our highest priority," Eileen Ziesemer, vice president of public relations for Ulta, told Fox News. "We are aware of the criminal activity at our Norridge store over the weekend and are fully cooperating with local police as they conduct the investigation."
Ziesemer said no one was injured in the robbery.
CWBChicago reports that these organized thefts are becoming common:
"Similar raids are being reported regularly. Around noontime on Monday, September 27, a crew of men and women pulled off an identical heist at Ulta’s 1000 West North Avenue store in Lincoln Park. Saturday, the company’s South Loop store at 1107 South Delano Court was hit. On Sunday, they raided the Lakeview store at 3015 North Clark.
The South Loop store has been repeatedly targeted, as has the company’s Mag Mile flagship, according to CPD records. In fact, the Michigan Avenue location was targeted three times between August 27 and August 31 alone.
The Ulta thieves are suspected of being the front-line soldiers of an organized operation that sells stolen name brand merchandise online at deep discounts."
