Woman Freed On Bond For Murder Is Arrested For Stabbing A Potential Witness

Last year, twenty-seven-year-old Felicia Washington was arrested for the violent murder of her neighbor, Ramona “Dede” Jones, 51.

Jones’ body was discovered in a ditch back in October of 2020 with multiple stab wounds.

Washington was arrested and charged with murder, yet she was given just $50,000 bond by District Court Judge Chris Morton.

She was freed in December.

Now, Washington is accused of stabbing a possible witness to the murder.

Prosecutor Sean Teare says that Washington “was outside of her residence, outside of her curfew hours, and had some pretty significant contact with a witness of that murder.”

Despite this new charge, Washington was given bond again. This time at $75,000.

The state has filed a motion requesting a hearing to deny bail.

The family of murder victim Ramona “Dede” Jones is not happy that Washington was free in the first place.

Daughter Jazmine Jones tells ABC13, “it's not fair at all. We understand we have to have due process. But when is enough, enough, when you've taken someone's life."

While daughter Sydni Lavan, adds “when is she going to be punished for her crimes. She's going to get out and stab someone else. This is her [mode of operating], stabbing people.”
