Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley says group of "Antifa scumbags" showed up at his DC area home to threaten his family.
Hawley was out of town.
He wrote on twitter, “tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel. They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”
A group named ShutdownDC took credit for harassment & intimidation.
The group claimed the visit was an hour-long "vigil" with about a dozen activists, however Hawley called bull.
He wrote in response, “now 'vigil' means screaming threats through bullhorns, vandalizing property, pounding on the doors of homes and terrorizing innocent people and children.”
Remember the media has encouraged and normalized this type of behavior just as long as Republicans are the target.
