Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson says that even if he’s still positive with COVID, he’ll show up in DC wearing a “moon suit” in order to confirm Barrett to the Supreme Court.
In a radio interview, Sen. Johnson was asked what he would do if the Senate held a vote to confirm Barrett while he was still infected.
Johnson said “if we have to go in and vote, I’ve already told leadership I’ll go in a moon suit. Johnson says he is feeling “healthy” and is not “experiencing symptoms”. He says he will remain isolated until “given the all-clear by his doctor.
