POLL QUESTION: Your tax refund

It's tax filing season, but even if you get your taxes filed early, don't expect your refund anytime soon.

"Tax returns are going to be delayed this year full stop" said Brandon Arnold, executive V.P. with the National Taxpayers Union, "There's huge problems at the IRS, they're looking at a 24 million return backlog over there, so it's a real travesty and an absolute mess at the IRS right now."

If you remember, Donald Trump tried to clean up the IRS, along with the rest of the swamp, but it was too difficult. The backlog of 24 million returns is partially due to the pandemic, but the primary reason, is simply mismanagement.

"They're not processing returns in a timely fashion, they're not getting people their refunds" Arnold told KTRH, "And yet Democrats, and this Biden administration want to super-size the agency. They want to provide $80 billion dollars, not to improve the IT systems, not to make sure that peoples calls are answered on time, but to ramp up enforcement activities."

Those activities are mainly directed at going after conservatives and the middle class, a page Biden took from the Obama playbook, to transfer wealth, and help pay for the radical 'green new deal'.

But for now, Arnold suggests that if you are expecting a tax refund, to file your return asap.

"My biggest advice this tax season is file as early as you possibly can, file electronically, and make sure you double and triple check your tax returns before you submit them" Arnold said, "Doing all that will give you a much better chance to get your refund on time, during this really crazy and unpredictable season."

That leads to the poll question this morning.
