Sinema confronted again about spending bill, Green New Deal, DACA

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), was confronted at Reagan National Airport in Washington and on an airplane by individuals demanding to know why she is refusing to support President Biden's "Build Back Better" agenda.

Green New Deal Network chief of staff Kunoor Ojha approached the senator saying "I want to ask if you can explain to the American people what you're planning on cutting from Joe Biden's ‘Build Back Better’ plan? Do you want to cut climate priorities? Is it elder care that you want to cut, or is it child care?"

Sinema has yet to lay out specifically what she'd like to see in the social-spending bill.

On the plane, a DACA recipient asked the senator to commit to a pathway to citizenship for immigrants.

Sinema did not provide answers in either exchange and mostly ignored the questions.

The incidents come on the heels of immigration activists following and questioning Sinema as she walkwed from the classroom where she teaches at Arizona State University into a restroom.
