Three-quarters of Americans believe the social media giants should prevent misuse this election cycle, but only about one-in-four have confidence they actually can or will.
That's according to a recent Pew Research Center survey which shows Democrats are more confident than Republicans.
Conservative blogger Pam Geller has sued Facebook for blocking her pro-Israel speech, claiming bias. She argues the tech giants should not be monitoring anyone's political speech, regardless of where it comes from.
“Everything that you see these uniformly left-wing corporate managers of tech giants doing is in violation of our First Amendment rights,” she says.
