It would be nice if New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio actually practiced what he preached.
De Blasio, along with his wife Chirlane McCray, traveled to Brooklyn’s Prospect Park over the weekend, where they took a stroll and were heckled by local residents.
While de Blasio and his wife wore protective face coverings, one local who filmed the couple walking through the park on Saturday considered their outing to be “non-essential travel.”
You know, the kind of non-essential travel de Blasio doesn't want New York doing.
One of the locals, uniquely Brooklyn, by the way, called him out. It was classic. And de Blasio's reaction was typical of de Blasio.
