Who knew? The Washington Nationals are Trump Fans!

As much as it hurt to watch the Astros lose the World Series, what the Nationals did at the White House yesterday might have made you smile.

The Nats were invited to the White House by President Trump, and unlike many of today's pro athletes that take Trump to task, it seems like the Nats are fans of the President. Ryan Zimmerman presented the President with a jersey, and thanked him for the job he has been doing.

Then there was catcher Kurt Suzuki, and what he did made the left see red.

The left was so incensed that Suzuki would wear a MAGA hat, they lashed out on Twitter.

That forced Suzuki to respond, telling USA Today, "It was amazing. That was the president. Just trying to have some fun," Suzuki told USA TODAY Sports in a text message after the team's visit on Monday.

The left also tried to make something of what Stephen Strasburg did when he did not shake the President's hand. They tried to make it seem like he did that as a way to protest the President. Strasburg went to Twitter, and had a two word response the President would have been proud of.

Check that out below and read more HERE.

Seven players from the Nationals did not go to the White House. That group included Richmond native and former Rice star Anthony Rendon.
