President Trump Slams Impeachment Inquiry, Beto And Bidens At Dallas Rally

At last night's "Keep America Great" campaign rally in Dallas, President Trump went after the House Democrats leading the impeachment inquiry, the Hunter Biden controversy, and Beto O'Rourke's recent statements on gun control and churches. The president spoke for nearly 90 minutes in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

President Trump addressed the impeachment inquiry, characterizing the Democratic opposition as "hateful" and "enraged." "At stake is the survival of American democracy itself," he said. "They are destroying this country, but we will never let it happen." On the topic of his much-discussed July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, he reiterated his stance that it was a perfect call.

The president talked about what he considers the "terrible foreign corruption of the Bidens", referring to controversy around Joe Biden's son Hunter having been employed by a Ukrainian energy company.

President Trump also took aim at Texas Democratic hopeful Beto O'Rourke, who was holding his own counter rally a few miles away. He called O'Rourke "a very dumb Democrat candidate for president," and attacked his stance on guns and his proposal to end tax exemptions for religious organizations that oppose same-sex marriage.
