College tells student not to use the words 'America' or 'American'

Earlier this week on Houston's Morning News we did a story about 80% of you being fed up with political correctness. And what we are about to tell you is the epitome of our P-C culture.

Colorado State University’s 'Inclusive Language Guide' tells students students “to avoid” using the words “America” and “American,” because doing so “erases other cultures.”

“The Americas encompass a lot more than the United States,” the guide says. “There is South America, Central America, Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean just to name a few of 42 countries in total."

The guide advises students to use the words “U.S. citizen” or “person from the U.S.” instead of “American.”
