DEMS DO-OVER DOO-DOO
Call it the Dems do-over doo-doo or the Mueller mess. The ballyhooed testimony before Congress of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller didn’t accomplish what the Democrats wanted. Even their media wing couldn’t make a silk purse out of that. But they’re not done. In this morning after, the headlines still claim that Mueller did not clear the President of obstruction. Funny…. I distinctly heard him say “No” when asked if his investigation was prevented or impeded by any actions of the President. Was he fired? Was he denied documents in the thousands of subpoenas, thousands of interviews demanded? His answer was no.
But I defer to former Congressman Ted Poe for the best wrap on it. As an 8 year prosecutor, 22 year judge…Ted Poe shines in explaining what happened. Listen to it on the Houston Morning News blog at KTRH.com. Especially his laugh when I asked him about pursuit of Impeachment.
