Remember the Johnny Cash biopic “Walk the Line”?Joaquin Phoenix did a masterful job portraying the “Man in Black” and his music, with Reese Witherspoon ably assisting as June Carter.
Just recently watched that movie, and the music made it. So news of next year’s Elvis movie raises a lot of expectations and some questions; the big question of who will portray “The King” is answered. Austin Butler; click here to see the photos of him.
He was chosen for his body moves and his inflection, supposedly. There were many who vied for the role. As for Butler’s more than able assist, that will be Tom Hanks in the role of Col. Tom Parker. Have a feeling that when this still untitled film is released next year, whole new generations will have their eyes and ears opened.Long live the King.
