(Richmond, VA) -- Virginia's First Lady is being criticized for handing out cotton to an African-American student last week. An eighth grader said it was beyond inappropriate when Pam Northam gave the cotton to a Senate page and asked them to imagine being enslaved. The First Lady says she regrets upsetting anyone. A governor spokeswoman claims that Northam wasn't singling any one page out.
