(Washington, DC) -- President Trump is supporting teaching Bible literacy in public schools. In a Tweet on Monday, Trump called giving students the option of studying the Bible "Great!"
Some states are pushing for elective courses in schools that would teach the Bible in terms of its historical context. Bible literacy bills have been introduced in six states, including Kentucky, which has passed a law creating a framework for a class.
Lots are responding to the President's suggestion. What do you think?
