Life contains many moments of fact vs. truth….sometimes they actually sync.
Fact: the President did say he will “shut down the government”, if the Democrats don’t agree to funding border security in the budget.
Fact: the Democrats are using the phrase “shut down” as a bludgeon…endlessly working it into every sentence as though it is more lethal to America than the illegal invasion.
That truth gets lost in the emotional assault of the words “shut down”. Truth that Texas is bearing the brunt of illegal traffic of people, drugs and crime and the increasing incursion of cartels into our society and institutions.
Our well-being in real terms, by protecting our borders, is what the Constitution specifically tasks the Federal Government. That’s fact and truth.
