The Democrats have not been shy about their love for illegal aliens in the United States and have become increasingly brazen about it in recent months. They claim to love illegals because they "care about people," but in reality, it's a facade. They want illegals in the U.S. so they can give them free stuff in exchange for votes. That is all it is, yet people continue to buy it thinking they are the party of old.
They have made it clear they prioritize illegals over Americans at every turn, even though they would toss them aside at a moment's notice if they did not vote how they want them to. Many Democrat lawmakers have said directly they care about illegals over Americans, so much so it has become commonplace. The latest bit of befuddling public relations move comes from New Jersey Senator Andy Kim.
Amid protests at an ICE detention facility in his state over a group of detained criminal illegals, Senator Kim wrote in a post on X, "the detainees and their families need to be out North Star." He then added they will fight to secure dignity for them.
Mind you, these are criminals they are detaining. There will be those who then say, "well some of them are not violent criminals." They are here illegally, that makes them a criminal, period. No amount of mental gymnastics you perform can change that.
The statement though, as a whole, is shocking. Saying something to that effect even 30 years ago would have been a career ender. But today, it is just another wild thing said in the Democrat archive. Chris Russo of Texans for Strong Borders says this has just become typical.
"It should be inflammatory to anyone of good conscience in the United States, and it is amazing anyone gets re-elected with this sort of rhetoric," he says.
But no one really does anything about it, mostly because we have become desensitized due to it being such commonplace. But it is a radical idea born out of a want for open borders to maintain power. Democrats, for some reason, have lost any conceptualization of what a border is or why they are important. Whether that be on purpose or out of a lack of IQ, you be the decider.
The worst part of it is they play the facade, even when people know they are faking. They want open borders and have been adamant about making it known. Yet, as midterms approach, you hear some who are up for election reeling it in a bit. All of it part of their plan to get power.
"The lessons of the Biden administrations are they will do this unapologetically until an election year, then scale back and underplay the scale of the damage," says Russon. "But then, when they are given power again, they do it all over."
The midterms will be critical to determining both the ability to keep border security alive but also pass any further agenda for President Trump in regard to the border. Which will be necessary, as elections are unpredictable. So, these next 6 months are critical for both Trump and the GOP.
"This is not the time to take the foot off the gas, it is the time to redouble out efforts," Russo says.
He adds that we need to fight against this all we can, which starts in November.
