Change of Thune: The Establishment Is Finally Getting Behind Ken Paxton

After the landslide primary loss for longtime incumbent Senator, John Cornyn, Senate majority leader John Thune has had a change of tune.

Thune now says that the GOP must go "all in" to support Ken Paxton and his race against radical Democrat James Talarico.

"My initial thought is, CYA" said Texas host & Republican strategist, Matt Locke, "It's a wake up call really, Thune sees the writing on the wall."
And the writing could not be anymore clear.

It's the first time since World War II that multiple incumbents have been voted out in a primary election.

"We're watching all over the country these incumbents are feeling the wrath" Locke told KTRH, "Plus, I think Talarico is such a horrible candidate, it's the lesser of two evils in John Thune's eyes."

Ultimately, actions speak louder than words. Maybe this will finally be the catalyst to get Senator Thune and the establishment to pass the 'SAVE America Act'.

"The leadership in Washington D.C. is petrified that they're losing hold on their control" noted Locke.

And if they want to keep it, they'd better start listening to their voters.
