Several Americans have been injured in an Iranian ballistic missile strike on a Kuwaiti air base, as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has revealed that troops are preparing to 'recommence if necessary.'
According to Bloomberg- Five people, including contractors and active-duty personnel, have suffered minor injuries after a missile strike.
Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted the missile, but debris still struck the Ali Al Salem air base, a person with direct knowledge of the attack told the publication.
The Iranians used a Fateh-110 missile, which was intercepted by two MQ-9 Reaper strike drones, destroying one of them and severely damaging the second, Bloomberg reported. The drones are estimated to cost $30 million each.
A Fateh-110 missile is a short-range ballistic missile and can fire up to 124 miles.
