A Republican Is Making Big Gains In A Deep Blue City

Former reality star, and now California Republican Spencer Pratt, continues to make big gains in the L.A. mayoral race against radical Democrat Karen Bass. But can he actually win?

"No matter how badly Bass has been as a mayor, and no matter how refreshing Spencer Pratt has been as a candidate, and he's very refreshing, he's got a tough putt" said L.A. based national talk show host, Larry Elder.

It's tough, because so many Republicans have left the golden state.

"The last time L.A. elected a Republican for mayor was 1997, when the city by the way was 30% registered Republican" Elder told KTRH, "Fast forward, it is now 15% registered Republican."

But there are also positive numbers, like the fact that nearly two-thirds of voters say L.A. is on the wrong track, with Pratt only trailing Bass by just 4 points in the latest left-leaning polls.

"If this were a rational place, Bass would be so embarrassed, so ashamed about her record, she wouldn't run again" noted Elder, "But this isn't a rational place, this is Los Angeles. I admire him for getting into the race, as I got into the race in 2021 for the CA governor recall election, somebody's got to do it. And he's got a shot, let me just say that. He's got a shot."

The leftist media in Los Angeles is now calling Karen Bass "vulnerable", and it's also worth noting that Pratt says Hollywood celebrities Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx have privately endorsed him.
