Texas is on the hunt for a new Attorney General after Ken Paxton's win over John Cornyn on primary runoff night, and now the candidates are set for November.
After a tough campaign from both sides, State Senator Mayes Middleton has defeated Congressman Chip Roy in the GOP primary runoff for Attorney General.
Middleton held 55 percent of the vote to advance to the general election.
He will face off in the general election with Nathan Johnson, who won the Democrat primary runoff on Tuesday night.
