A man has been taken to jail after shooting several people in the New Caney area, according to Montgomery County Sheriff's officers.
Why the man apparently went on a shooting rampage is not clear, and investigators say they expect to continue interviewing him.
Three people are reported to have been shot, but there is no word on their conditions yet.
The shootings happened in eastern Montgomery County in the Kings Colony area not far from The Roman Forest.
