Austin Shooting Spree Suspect Denied Bond; Faces Two New Charges

One of the teens connected to a shooting spree in Austin that hurt four people has had his bond denied by a judge and now faces two new charges.

17-year-old Christian Mondragon now faces two aggravated assault charges in connection to the spree. Court records show that just days prior to the shooting, Mondragon along with another of the suspects broke into a pawn shop in east Austin. There, they stole a BB gun, Glock gun box, and a PlayStation console. He faces a felony Burglary charge for that as well.

Mondragon, in addition, faces felony charges of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, driving a stolen vehicle during the shooting spree.

He remains in the Travis County Jail.
