At a press conference today, Assistant Attorney General Colin McDonald announced fraud charges against 15 suspected fraudsters in Minnesota.
According to McDonald, the fraud targeted seven different state-run Medicaid programs, including those meant to provide housing and autism care.
He also said there were even instances where fraudulent daycare providers were offering kickbacks to parents who enrolled their children.
McDonald warned upstanding citizens to look out for these fraudsters, saying: “If you see something that seems too good to be true, tell us… A culture of fraud has taken root.”
