Despite ongoing left-wing nay-saying about the economy and a projected gain of just 62,000 jobs, the April BLS Jobs Report shows the economy in fact added 115,000 jobs.
That massive surge ahead of expectations comes with March’s report also being revised up from a gain of 178,000 jobs to a gain of 185,000.
In the government sector, jobs continued to decline, dropping by another 9,000. This is consistent with the President’s plans to shrink the federal government, thereby saving taxpayer money.
The biggest gain in jobs came from the healthcare sector, which grew by well over 37,000 jobs. Construction also added 9,000 jobs, and transportation and warehousing added 30,000.
