There was not too much drama on NFL Draft night for the Houston Texans, but they did make a move to get their guy.
The Texans entered the night with the 28th overall pick but made a deal with the Buffalo Bills to trade up two spots. In the deal, Houston received the 26th overall pick and the 91st overall pick. Buffalo received the 28th overall pick, plus Houston's 69th and 167th picks.
The team then gave a bolster to its offensive line, selecting Georgia Tech offensive lineman Keylan Rutledge 26th overall.
Rutledge, who started his career at Middle Tennessee State, was a First Team All-American last season with the Yellow Jackets. He was also a two-time First Team All-ACC pick the last two years.
The Texans, meanwhile, have three picks on Friday during the second and third rounds of the draft. The Texans will select 38th overall,59th overall, and 91st overall. The team has three other picks remaining as well in the fourth, fifth, and seventh rounds.
