Is New Senate Republican Leadership Really Different From The Old RINO's?

When it comes to why the GOP led Senate still hasn't passed the SAVE Act, more Republicans, like House Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), are calling out Senate majority leader John Thune.

Jenny Beth Martin, the longtime chairman of Tea Party Patriots Action, has been watching from Washington.

"Senator Thune is certainly part of the problem" Martin said, "When you've got more than 80% of Americans agreeing on something, I think what's happening in the Senate is absolutely wrong."

But, she is also quick to point out, don't forget about the Democrats, and all of the damage that they've done.

"I do not let the Democrats slide" Martin told KTRH, "It is clear that the Democrats, especially in the Senate really are more concerned about what they're radical base wants, than what's good for the country."

Americans want it to pass, Republicans really want it to pass. Which is why many are left to wonder, is John Thune really doing anything different from Mitch McConnell?

"If he did, perhaps he would be better able to push the SAVE America Act through" noted Martin, "With that said, Senator McConnell is still wielding a lot influence inside of Republican leadership in the Senate."

It looks like one more run, for the RINO's.
