President Trump Touts Operation Epic Fury, Slams NATO In Address To Nation

President Trump giving an address to the nation on Wednesday night, updating the public at large on the war with Iran.

Among the many reasons he discussed as to why Operation Epic Fury is succeeding; he said the military's ability to wipe out their Navy and Air Force have put things ahead of schedule. He added that they have hit the regime hard enough that regime change is in sight, which was not the plan, but is an added bonus.

The President defended the operation as well, saying Iran was going to use a nuclear weapon if they attained making one. He added, as he has said before, they were close to achieving that goal. He said that since he launched his campaign in 2015 that his goal was to eliminate Iran's nuclear capabilities, and they "have done that."

But it would not have been a Trump speech without some form of jab, and this one was at the United States allies. Specifically, European allies who did not participate in the war or in reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump had a specific message for them.

To quell concerns among Americans, the President finally addressed gas prices, which have risen since the war began.

He went on to say Iran, not the war itself, has caused the issues at the pump. But amid all the price hikes, Trump said the U.S. is prepared for the challenge.

The President also congratulated the crew of the Artemis II lunar launch, which successfully lifted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida this evening. The President said "these are brave people...God bless those four unbelievable astronauts.
