The Democrat party has been in chaos for some time now, but it is now at what might be a complete breaking point. After wins by multiple self-proclaimed socialists in New York primaries last week, there is real momentum for a new faction of the Democrat party. But it is not a faction with which they share the same ideals, in fact it is mostly the opposite. Socialism is a fancy word for Communism, and the momentum gathered by them might push the party into a new era.

New York Senator Chuck Schumer has long been a far-Left Democrat with ideologies most see as verging on insane. But for all the things you might disagree with him about, Schumer has never openly declared he wants death to the American way of life. That is exactly what many of these socialist candidates have said, one of them even saying she has wiped her hands on an American flag because she had no napkins.

All of these candidates in New York, and the socialists as a whole, have one mission. That is to break down Western civilization and impose borderline Bolshevik-style rule within the country. They might not say it out loud, but the mask has slipped off enough where it is obvious. It is no longer some outside threat that needs to attention, the issue is at the doorstep, especially for people like Schumer who, somehow, are not "far enough Left."

Columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal Victor Joecks says the threat to Schumer getting primaried by one of these radical socialists is not far from reality.

"It would be very surprising if they do not mount a strong challenge," he says.

Schumer has long said before they will harness the energy and ride the wave into November, like it is business as usual. But it is far from business as normal for the party. The New York primaries showed a shift toward a new ideology that is so extreme, it almost makes radical Dems like Schumer seem logical.

Other Democrats have expressed some fear as well, with people like James Carville saying they do not agree with this faction of the Democrats now, that is it "not their party." But the thing is, this is a bed they made. For years, Republicans told Democrats to stop calling anyone who disagrees with them a Nazi or you would create extremists. Now, the hand that fed them is being bitten.

"Mainstream Democrats have had this idea that they will ally with these Democrat Socialist of America members, and they will bring the energy and votes...while we are in the leadership position...and lo and behold, the revolution has come for them," says Joecks.

Once again, Democrats are stuck bewildered by the consequences of their own actions. One would think there might be a moment of self-reflection or some kind of change. But no, they have become so deluded they refuse to look within and consider they might be the problem, not Republicans.

"Now they are wondering why these people have so much power...you gave them the power," Joecks says. "Unless the Democrat party is willing to look them in the eye and say, 'stop, we cannot do this, we love America more than we hate our policial enemies,' I think the DSA will continue to feel emboldened."

For years, the Democrats have been taking things a bridge too far, spewing out nonsense in hopes it would radicalize. Well, it did. But to their own detriment.

The bed is made, now it is time for Schumer and the others who caused this to lie in it.
