You've heard President Trump mention several times over the last year how much things have improved with our border? Well, there's a new report that shows the data of just how much we really are winning.
Case in point, deportations have nearly doubled since this time last year, with ICE arrests averaging a 1,100 per day, up from around 600 a year ago.
"What surprised me the most was that most of these deportations are happening in Texas" said Joe Chalfant, web editor at Townhall.com, "Minneapolis received so much coverage, but the reality is that red states are the ones who are doing the most work, the best work. And we're seeing that happen without incident."
The other reality is, you never hear about the smooth operating here in Texas, which shouldn't be a surprise considering the data was featured in the leftist New York Times.
"How much abuse do we hear about in the state of Texas, not at all, we don't hear anything about it" Chalfant told KTRH, "Yet, the liberal media wants to push this narrative that ICE is terrorizing communities. We do not see that at all in states that choose to cooperate with the federal government."
The data clearly show that the Trump administration continues to deliver - Promises made, promises kept. Under Trump, we really are 'winning' on immigration.
