The Democrat DHS shutdown has already made flying an adventure for Houstonians. The weather isn't helping things.
As a result of our high winds, Bush Intercontinental Airport has issued a ground delay. According to an advisory, departures will have delays of around 34 minutes. There is a chance the ground stop could be extended.

A wind advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. as strong north winds continue to sweep cooler air across Southeast Texas. Winds gradually ease tonight and temperatures fall quickly under clear skies.
