Despite -all- of the strong numbers to start the year, there is still one thing that can kill Trump's economy.
Simply put, it's our national debt.
"The fact that the federal government has run up $38 to $39 trillion in collective debt, and annually runs up about $1.8 trillion in debt" said Brian Darling, former counsel to Senator Rand Paul.
Elon Musk tried to get things turned around with the now distant 'doge cuts', but the government over-spending continues.
"One of the big challenges for the Trump administration is getting our debt crisis under control, because one of the problems with the debt crisis is that it's helping to cause inflation" Darling told KTRH.
And sadly, nobody seems to want to do anything about it.
"The fact that out federal government is overspending and causing inflation because government has a printing press to pay for all of the things that they're not collecting money for, every year the federal government collects $1.8 trillion less than they take in, and that's hindering the whole Trump agenda" noted Darling.
The only solution he says, is for Congress to work towards a balanced budget. If not? Our nation faces what Darling calls a "national security crisis".
