A Sugar Land firefighter was injured while battling a blaze on Saturday at a home near First Colony.
Crews were called about 1:30 pm to the home not far from 69 the Southwest Freeway near Highway 6, the Sugar Land Fire Department says.
Some firefighters began a search for victims while others started pouring water on the blaze.
At one point an active crewmember was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital, reported to be in stable condition.
Another firefighter was also taken to a hospital for evaluation for a less serious injury.
There were no other injuries reported.
