REPORT: Several Houston Schools Will See Anti-ICE Walkouts Friday

Our TV partner Channel Two reports that students at several Houston-area high schools are planning a student-led walkout on Friday to protest ICE.

The walkouts are expected to take place during school hours, with most occurring around lunchtime. In several cases, students plan to leave campus and walk to nearby shopping centers or public gathering areas.

These are the schools reported to be involved.

Spring ISD:

  • Westfield High School

Pearland ISD:

  • Dawson High School
  • Turner High School
  • Pearland High School

Conroe ISD:

  • The Woodlands High School
  • Grand Oaks High School
  • Oak Ridge High School

Humble ISD

  • Students across several Humble ISD campuses are planning to take part in the protest. According to students, walkout times will differ by school, though many are expected around lunchtime.
