President Trump has signed legislation ending the partial government shutdown that started last Friday at midnight.
The bill will fund agencies including the Department of War, the Department of State, the Treasury Department and other agencies through the end of September and the end of the fiscal year, along with funding for the Department of Homeland Security and ICE, which will expire again in just 2 more weeks.
The House of Representatives has passed a Senate backed measure to end the current government shutdown. The bill now heads to President Trump's desk to be signed.
This shutdown began on Saturday, January 31st, and was the second shutdown in just four months, with the preceding 'Schumer Shutdown' lasting a record 43 days.
