HPD has confirmed they found another body was recovered this morning from Buffalo Bayou. According to our tv partner KPRC channel 2, a call came in at around 9:30am after was found near the Port of Houston.
Houston police are now awaiting autopsy results from what appears to be some kind of fishing accident. HPD Homicide Division Sgt. Brady and Sgt. Casso told KPRC there were no obvious signs of foul play after HPD’s Dive Team recovered the body of a 62-year-old man from the water. His identity and official cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
There were a total of 34 bodies recovered from Buffalo Bayou in 2025.
