Dems Don't Want To Fund DHS, Even If It Means Another Government Shutdown

Just two months after the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, Senate Democrats are threatening to do it again over the funding of DHS & ICE.

"This is a problem they created, and now they're threatening to withhold funding because President Trump is doing what the American people elected him to do to fix the problem that they created" said Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies, "And I think Americans are smart enough to realize that, and I don't think it'll bode well for them when re-election comes around."

It's a deal that they already agreed to, and a deal that has already been backed by House Democrats. So would the Dems really be dumb enough to do it? Again?

"Intelligence clearly is not a prerequisite to be a member of Congress" Evans told KTRH, "So, I think they're absolutely dumb enough to do it.

Last year's Schumer shutdown lasted 43 days. What Should we expect for this one?

"I think it will be Deja vu yet again" noted Evans, "The Democrats will once again prove that they're more interested in political soundbites, grandstanding and fundraising, off of a government shutdown."

The clock is ticking, with the deadline set for Friday night at midnight.
