Poll Finds Dems Motivated For Midterms Despite Hatred For Party Leadership

The midterms are fast approaching in 2026, in what is one of the most crucial elections in recent memory. Republcians are aiming to keep, and possibly grow, control of both the House and the Senate, holding on currently by the thinnest of margins. Democrats are once again promising some "blue wave" as the usually do, with an aim at regaining the majority solely to impede anything President Trump wants to do.

That is the ultimate goal, after all, for the Democrats. It is not about policy, true change, or fixing a broken system. They just want to stick it to President Trump, as does the voting base. But the party is staring down the barrel of a massive failure in November simply because that is their only stance. Hate President Trump, bash him, and throw a tantrum when he does something with which they do not agree.

It is a key factor as to why the party has fallen apart in the last few years, but their voting base remains steadfast, according to a CNN poll. The outlet found in their survey of almost 1,000 people Democrats are more motivated than Republicans for the midterms. Now, it is a CNN poll, after all. So, take that with a grain of salt. But the interesting part is the voter base being motivated despite their hatred for the party leadership.

Approval ratings for the party leaders sits at 28-percent currently. RNC Committeewoman Debbie Georgatos says this means the voters are motivated by that one thing that has become the party battle cry: hatred for President Trump.

"It has been almost like a psyop since 2015 to turn people against President Trump...they have just set out from the time he first announced running, to steer the ignorant part of the American people into irrational reaction to him," she says.

That is basically what the Democrat platform boils down to in 2026. There are no policy ideas, no meaningful action, no real effective plan at the change they want. Their whole ideology is calling anyone who disagrees with them a fascist, even those in their own party. It has become as sad as it is comical.

For what little policy they do have, it is a mix-mash of trans-gendering children, open borders, and letting criminals onto streets. People have rejected the "progressive" ideology in multiple elections now, yet they continue to push it. This combined with their Trump hatred is not going to create a blue wave, it will make a red one.

"The radical left nature of the party leadership stands on the side of the violent illegal alien over the rights of the American people," Georgatos says. "I think the Democrats are helping Republicans create a permanent Republicans majority voting base."

Whether or not that will be the case remains to be seen, but the signs are there. Numerous lifelong Democrats have been leaving the party to go Independent or become Republicans. That is not because they are, as the Democrats would call them, a "racist bootlicker." It is because the party is a complete removal from what it once was, a shell of its former self.

That Republcian majority though will become reality as long as Democrats keep doing what they are doing. Especially since Americans ahve now seen through the charade of the "love and truth" party.

"People recognize the Democrats want chaos, and gain political power by creating chaos," says Georgatos.

Democrat voters might be motivated for November. But unless they change their attitude, they are just going to drive a further Republican majority.
