More chaos unfolding in Minnesota on Wednesday night, as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers were involved in another shooting in Minneapolis.

DHS says this shooting happened as a result of a targeted traffic stop on a Venezuelan illegal alien gang member, who was allowed into the country under the Biden administration. The suspect tried fleeing officers, crashing a short time later.

According to DHS, as the officer was attempting to arrest the illegal, two men from a nearby apartment came out and attacked the agents with a snow shovel and broom stick.

During the fiasco, the detained illegal alien got loose and started assaulting the officer as well. That led to the ICE agent firing his weapon in self-defense, hitting the Venezuelan immigrant in the leg.

All three involved in the incident were arrested. The original suspect is in the hospital in stable condition. The ICE agent was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

It is the second ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis this week. It follows the shooting of Renee Good, who was seen on video trying to run over an ICE agent with her car, before being shot. Protests have ramped up in the city since then.

The shooting on Wednesday night came less than an hour after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz held a press conference, during which he called ICE "racist."
