In what can only be described as a blow to House Speaker Mike Johnson, 17 House Republicans caved, and joined Democrats in passing 3 more years of Obamacare subsidies.
A significant number of GOP moderates are frustrated that their party leaders in the House and Senate have done little to stop a price hike for millions of Americans' insurance premiums.
Common sense conservatives point out the relatively small percentage of Americans who rely on Obamacare meant that an extension would do little to ease rising health costs that people across the country are experiencing.
The bottom line is, the Unaffordable Care Act is a Democrat disaster that needs to be abolished, and replaced.
It's worth noting, there's also little chance that the three-year extension will pass in the Senate. Similar legislation led by Senate Democrats failed to reach the necessary 60-vote threshold to advance in December.
